Missing B4!!

Hello from Mommy-Land!  Let me just start off by saying... I am missing my cherubs!!  I am loving being home and spending time with baby Cruz and crazy Clark, but I really do miss the daily grind and seeing all those adorable second grade faces!  This post is dedicated to my class and their families, who made my last few weeks at school so special.

It all started with a surprise shower.  Those little sneaky parents and kids did such a great job keeping it a secret.  I had no idea until there was a knock on the door and in walked 3 parents!  We had a great time.  We had some tasty treats and I was presented with a diaper cake and books for baby Miakisz!

All the students brought a book and wrote a note on the inside.  How sweet!  Baby's room was definitely stocked with new books!  Someday I will get to tell him the story behind each one.

They also presented me with an adorable book that they created.  Each student wrote their wish for baby Miakisz.  They are all so sweet, and again, this will be something that I will enjoy sharing with Cruz one day when he gets a little older!

On my last day I brought in pink and blue cupcakes for the class.  I let them pick the color that went with their gender guess!  It was lots of fun to see what the predictions were!  More kids chose blue than pink... looks like they are good predictors!!

Team pink...

Team blue...

At art class that week the class made me a heart card and everyone signed it.  I love it so much.  It has been hanging on my refrigerator so that I can look at it every day!

Since my last day I have missed everyone SO MUCH!!!  I have been lucky to have several visits with them.  I have to get my second grade fix when I can!  We have face-timed twice and I got to come in to be mystery reader!

When I came to visit, Miss Malinowski gave me a package of cards that she had the class write me for my birthday.  The letters were adorable!

See what I mean about my class making me feel so special!?! I just love them.

I will always have a special place in my heart for this class that I was lucky enough to spend 2 years with.  Looping with them was such an amazing experience and it would not have been possible without such great families as well.  The kiddos know that they can always come back and visit me and just like I told them on my last day... once your my student, your always my student.  ðŸ’—

Clark is loving being a big brother and Cruz has been making the perfect little brother!
Back to Mommy-Land I go!
